Get Your Child Protected

There are a great many children in Hull (especially primary school age) who are not protected against measles. Those children are more at risk of catching and spreading the disease.

Your child will need two doses of the MMR vaccine for it to become most effective.

To check whether your child vaccinated you should:

• Check your child’s Health Record (the red book) to see if your child has been vaccinated against measles, or
• Speak with your GP or health visitor who can answer any questions you may have and, if necessary, arrange an appointment for immunisation.
